November Share the Plate is the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee

Please make your donation check payable to UUCB with Share the Plate in the memo line. Thank you for your generosity!

The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) is a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization advancing human rights, together with an international community of grassroots partners and advocates.

The UUSC strives to advance human rights and social justice around the world by partnering with those who confront unjust power structures and mobilizing to challenge oppressive policies.

Their work is grounded in the belief that ‘All people have inherent power and dignity’. The UUSC’s work began in 1939 helping refugees escape Nazi persecution in Europe.

Please make your checks payable to UUCB and a note in the memo line stating Share the Plate. We will collect donations of cash, check and Venmo (@uucbham) each week of the month and then send the donations in one check. This helps the organization by eliminating the need to send a thank you note to each donor. Many of the organizations we support have very limited staff and removing extra work for them is another gift we can offer.

Thank you for your generosity!  (If you want to pay your pledge and support the Share the Plate recipient in one check, note the separate amounts for each in the memo line)
