Stone Soup

“If we each give a little, we can achieve a lot”

Stone Soup is a traditional folk tale found in many parts of the world.  In some versions the main character convinces people that they can make soup from a rusty old nail or a stone.  But whether it’s a stone or a nail, the story helps us to think about our place in the world and focus on ways that we can help other people.  This service will also include a time to honor Kwanzaa.

Please join Emily Johnson and Leigh Shaffer for this service and enjoy a soup lunch afterward.  All food will be provided.
